Neetasha & Family

I first met Neetasha when I was shooting an event for the Securities Commission at their beautiful building at Bukit Kiara.

Next thing I know i'm in her backyard shooting her family portraits with such beautiful backlighting coming through the leaves. It's nice to shoot into the light once in a while and get some nice rim lighting.

Here's another family portraiture session that I loved. You'll see from the photos what a fun family this is :)

When I got to the house, Liz showed me some canvas prints of her kids she had done in New Zealand when they were younger. They looked really nice, so i knew I had a high benchmark to which i would be compared to. I like the creative challenge that poses and it's what pushes me to always be better than my previous shoot.

We started by shooting some shots indoors then we ran out for a great time getting photos at their residential community pool and playground. Mom and dad sure had a good workout session ;)

Vietnamese Spring Rolls

My wife's favorite starter. Yes, by far.

So when she said she would like to try making them herself, i knew I would be called in to the kitchen to witness the whole process. So for the first time, i'm showing how a dish was made.

I actually helped wrap the spring rolls, and let me tell you, i'll leave it to her to do it next time. Why? Well, big hands + thin slippery rice paper = slow going & much tearing.
