Choong Family

It was a perfect day for outdoor portraits during the Choong family session. Nice blue sky with just enough clouds to provide some shade. Toss in a cosy backyard and wallaa!

Their cute miniature Schnauzers remind me of my cousin's dogs. Very cute to have them sit on command and pose for the final photo :)

Enjoy!

Polar & Polly - a taste of fatherhood

Every 2 hours its feeding time. I tell myself that this is preparing me for when we have our own kids, except no tails involved.

Polar (full white fur) & Polly (brown ears) were saved by my dad. We took them in and they've provided lots of amusing moments especially when they're playing. I wish they'd stay this size forever :)

Both are feeling a little under the weather lately & have to endure a round of antibiotics.

If you meet me in person and I look a bit tired, its not from fasting... its from these 2 babies. But its a good kinda tired :D

Kris & Megan featuring Felicity & Jasper - Ojai, California USA

After yesterday's session with Kris & Megan in Santa Barbara, it was time for some fun in Ojai, where Kris & Megan live during the summer holidays. Ojai is a small town up in the hills about 30 minutes away from Santa Barbara.

This short session was done right near their house while Felicity & Jasper were being taken out for some fresh air. They are such cute dogs and they love Kris & Megan to bits :)

Saturday!

If you go back in time in blog, you would see entries where i introduced my cats (they were kittens then) Mas Cann, Thursday & Friday.

Well, we now have a new member to the family and his name is Saturday! :)

We found him on.... no wait, he found us on a Saturday afternoon! Yes that's right, we came home from one day and as i was opening the gate he appeared from underneath my car. I put him across the street thinking that he was my neighbour's new cat, but he just kept walking back to me. He followed me in and just plonked himself on the floor and slept!

When the other cats hissed at him he just stared at them and didn't budge at all. I knew then that he is a pacifist.

Saturday is my wife's favourite cat as he is so loving and calm. It's like he's mastered the art of inner calmness. When you lift him up at chest level, he'll hug your neck and purr.

I only wish he'd learn to stop jumping up on my laptop while i'm doing my work heheh :P

Mas Cann - My Quality Control Executive

Hi everyone! I'm presenting to you my dear Mas Cann. Why is her name so strange... it's not Bolivian nor French, so what does it mean? Well Mas Cann is short for Malaysia Airlines Canteen where my wife found her back in 2006.

Mas Cann was all alone in a box near the entrance to the canteen. Apparently two of her siblings died a few days before as no one wanted to adopt them. As soon as Mariam was told about the kitten by her colleague, she immediately called me to drive over to bring the kitten home. She even took half a day off of work to do so.

As you can see, Mas Cann was an adorable kitten... and she loved to sleep in my trousers pocket :)

Here is Mas Cann and my wife circa 2006 hehehe

And here she is now, with her nightly routine of inspecting my work and then falling asleep on my lap as i edit photos on my laptop. She's too big to fit in the pocket now, so the lap will have to suffice.

Mas Cann is my quality control executive... doesn't she look the part with that steely eyed gaze? :)
